First built in 1927, the Sea Crest Beach Resort holds a lot of history in North Falmouth. The waterfront resort sprawls 21 acres, with tons of dining options and amenities on-site. The resort continues to evolve both in style and offerings through it’s multi-year renovation.
The property has a storied history, first opening with a summer playhouse featuring Henry Fonda, James Stewart, Margaret Sullivan and Barbara O’Neill. Nearly two decades later, Lou Walters, Barbara Walters’ father, managed a club on-site called The Latin Quarter.
Today, the resort offers an inclusive place to enjoy the gorgeous waters of Falmouth, quaint downtown, and bountiful amenities on-site.
We are thrilled to see the evolution of this multi-year renovation, marking a significant milestone for Sea Crest Beach Resort,” said General Manager Jay Sheldon. “From our refreshed guest rooms, lobby, and event spaces, to the new Streetscape dining hub, each and every detail has been thoughtfully curated to deliver a truly memorable experience for our guests. We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike to enjoy the elevated offerings within the historic property that has been serving the Upper Cape for generations as the only beachfront resort.
The hospitable staff will delight guests, one especially in particular. Don’t miss a chance to meet and greet Sea Crest’s Chief Experience Officer, Cooper the canine. The golden retriever ensures everyone on the property is having a blast!
The historic year-round seaside retreat has been a popular spot for generations. They’ve since added multiple culinary outlets at the resort’s “Streetscape,” featuring five distinct venues that feel like a little plaza on-site:
- The Lantern Room: offers classic New England dining
- The Hatch: a beachy Cape Cod-style clam shack
- Old Silver Provisions: gift shopping, coffee, and breakfast in one-stop
- Buzzards Bay Pizza Co.: a fun pizza shop with seasonal flavors
- Captain Scoops: the resort’s very own ice cream parlor
On the resort you’ll also find an indoor and outdoor pool, beachfront yoga, s’mores, and an arcade!
Make home in a guest room, suite, or New England cottage. Sea Crest ranked number 19 on the list of “Top 20 Resorts in New England” according to the 2023 Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards.
Set in one of the Cape’s most charming towns, the resort neighbors Highfield Hall & Gardens, main street of Falmouth, the Shining Sea Bikeway, and the famous Nobska Light!
Sea Crest Beach Resort is the Upper Cape’s only beachfront property, offering gorgeous vistas with Old Silver Beach to serve as your backyard! Enjoy white sand beaches, marvelous sunsets, and the chance to make a splash at Sea Crest Beach Resort!
