Wells, a Southern Maine town on the Downeaster Amtrak line from Boston is home to one of New England’s most famous ice cream shops. Scoop Deck, established over 40 years ago in 1983, is well known for its abundance of flavors—over 70 in total on the famous Scoop Deck Flavor Board.
