We’ve officially made our way into fall, and what’s the season without a few scares? If you’re a fan of the Saw films, you’re gonna need to sit down for this one: a parody blending the horror of the iconic saga with musical comedy just opened in Salem — and it needs to be at the top of your fall bucket list.
Recreating Lawrence Gordon and Adam Stainheigh’s iconic bathroom trap scene, the production puts a hilarious twist on the cult-favorite films with a tinge of romance. If you’ve never laughed out loud at a Saw film, now’s the time to do it! Secure your spot for the perfect spooky season show:

Horror meets romantic comedy
There’s no way we could ever conjure up a show like SAW The Musical. The gnarly horror of the films blends with raunchy comedy (and a romantic storyline) into what can only be described as a unique parody. But don’t be fooled: the musical includes heavy themes like explicit sexual humor, simulated gore, intense strobe lights and the like. Simply put: it’s a production perfect for Saw fans.

SAW The Musical has been Off-Broadway since 2023, and on a national tour through the US. Now, the production is stopping by Salem, right on time for fall!
📅 Through November 2025
📍 Venue: Ames Hall Salem
⚠️ Parental advisory: Explicit content, strobe effects, and simulated gore included — suitable for mature audiences only.
