The second-annual Ramadan Night Market returns to Boston this weekend. The market returns bigger and better than ever this year—and this time for two nights, instead of one!
Hosted by the City of Boston and Boston Community Social, Ramadan Night Market celebrates the spiritual month of Ramadan, a time of fasting, reflection, worship, charity, and community, and the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
Ramadan began on February 18 and is expected to run through Thursday, March 19. The Night Market occurs about ten days into Ramadan and is a chance to discover amazing local vendors making everything from Middle Eastern pastries to homemade soaps and authentic Henna hand art that originated in Egypt and India.
Boston’s second-annual Ramadan Night Market will take place at the same venue as last year, indoors at Boston City Hall. The market will run for two nights, Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28, from 9 PM until 1 AM on both nights. The event is completely free, and all are welcome to attend.
Ramadan Mubarak, Boston!
