Greater Boston has been rapidly expanding over the past few years, and its newest addition will be perfect for the coming colder weeks: a massive indoor mini golf spot called Puttshack! The tech-infused mini golf spot opened in Seaport two years ago. Now Natick mall and Greater Boston can enjoy the fun!
The double-decker space opened on February 10, boasting three cutting-edge, 9-hole mini golf courses, each infused with Puttshack’s patented Trackaball™ technology.
The “trackball” technology that works similarly to the digital scoreboards of an old-school bowling rink, but with a much more elevated display. This encourages players to mingle and live in the moment rather than worrying about keeping track of the score since although competition is encouraged, Puttshack is designed to stimulate conversation and new friendships.
Dave Diamond, President of Puttshack, remarks, “Natick’s vibrant mix of families and professionals makes it an ideal location for Puttshack. We’re thrilled to bring our unique combination of high-tech mini golf and upscale entertainment to suburban Boston. Puttshack Natick is more than a mini golf course – it’s a destination where technology, food, and fun intersect to create unforgettable experiences.
At each hole, you’ll find a game within the game. For Hole One, you and your putting posse will test everything from trivia knowledge to hoop skills. That isn’t the end of the fun and games: while putt-ing you can enjoy a relaxing ambiance, comfortable views, and a delicious menu.
Puttshack’s Boston location and upcoming Natick location will both offer a full dining menu for guests. Unique to the Massachusetts locations is the “Boston Tailpipe,” a lobster macaroni and cheese spring roll with a zesty tarragon aioli for dipping. Puttshack takes great pride in supporting the local communities it calls home, and will be proudly supporting the New England Center for Children by donating $1 from every Tailpipe sold at their Natick location.
The launch of Puttshack Natick marks an important milestone, being the 12th location in the United States and the 16th globally. They decided to bring the concept to Natick next since its modernity and youthfulness aligned with the goal to bring more entertainment to the Greater Boston area.
“Additionally, in its effort to advocate for individuals with sensory processing needs, Puttshack has earned the Sensory Inclusive™ certification from KultureCity, an Alabama-based nonprofit. The venue maintains a family-friendly environment during the day and transitions to an elevated nightlife space for adults over 21 after 8 pm,” according to a recent press release.
