Boston, get ready to yeehaw!
Professional Bull Riding is coming to TD Garden right at the start of the new year. Kick off 2026 with an adrenaline rush at the first-ever TD Garden rodeo! The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) make their Boston debut on Friday, January 2, 2026, and Saturday, January 3, 2026.
PBR rides into TD Garden
This two-day event brings over 100 bucking bulls to Boston—a special breed with instinctive athleticism to buck riders off their backs, each bull weighing almost 2000 pounds. In this case, it’s the brave riders who will take on the challenge of riding these bulls for as long as possible. Expect heart-pounding action as these athletes attempt to outlast the clock, holding on for the full eight seconds to receive a score from the panel of judges. The atmosphere in the arena will be electric, with fans on the edge of their seats cheering on each daring ride and dramatic throw.
The highest-scoring PBR ride in history is 98.75 points, achieved by José Vitor Leme on the bull Woopaa at the 2021 PBR World Finals. With the energy of Title Town, one of the competing bull riders might even break the longest ride ever recorded. Each ride is a thrill—an explosive test of strength, skill, and pure courage that keeps fans coming back for more.
Founded in 1992 in Scottsdale, Arizona, by 20 riders who each contributed $1,000 to create the organization, PBR is now a 33-year-old organization headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. It has become the largest bull riding league internationally, with reported annual revenue in the multi-millions. This landmark Boston event promises to be a memorable start to 2026, cementing PBR as a must-see spectacle for sports fans across New England.
Boston marks the third stop on the 18-stop PBR “Unleash the Beast” 2026 tour. Learn more about event times and tickets.
