Instagram’s ‘Salt Bae’ steak house has now finally reopened!
Well, it seems the time has finally arrived for us to enjoy Salt Bae’s extravagant cuisine! Earlier in September, the famous Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe announced on his social media he was opening a new American location of his popular steak house right here in Boston. “Please wish me good luck for grand opening Nusr-Et Boston this weekend,” he wrote on an Instagram post.
The famous chef’s initial run in Boston was short-lived after Nusr-Et Boston was forced to close due to COVID-19 concerns. But the restaurant has now finally reopened and steaks galore awaits all of us hungry Bostonians.
Located in the Back Bay at 100 Arlington St., Salt Bae’s Nusr-Et is his third American location–he also has locations in NYC and Miami–and his 16th restaurant world wide. Gökçe opened his first restaurant in Turkey back in 2010, before going viral on Instagram for his unique style of slicing and salting meat (and quite difficult to master as well…speaking from personal experience here).
Steak fans will be quite in their element (sorry vegetarians and vegans!) at Nusr-Et with a wide assortment of steaks, chops and other bites which make for totally awesome picture opportunities. These include several steak cuts such as Nusr-Et ‘s Kobe and NY steak as well as lamb, meatballs and Sucuk, a traditional barbecued Turkish sausage. You can take a peak at Nusr-Et‘s full menu by visiting their website here.
Nusr-Et‘s grand opening comes as bit of great news after the closure of so many of our beloved bars and restaurants including Fenhuill Hall’s Cheers and the popular sports bar, The Fours Boston. So if you’ve got a soft spot for tender steaks or if you’re just a major Salt Bae fan, make sure to check out the coolest new addition to Boston’s restaurant scene!
