The beloved Seaport rooftop, Lookout, has brought back its winter igloo’s and we’re loving them!
Winter season is now in full swing, the holidays are around the corner, the city is wrapped in twinkling lights and the freezing temperatures are slowly creeping up on us. So how about cozying up in one of Lookout’s famous light-up igloos and shelter from the cold in style?
The popular rooftop is kicking things up a notch for the cozy season next week with its exclusive Igloo experience in which guests will be able to enjoy the stunning views of the Boston skyline while sipping on specialty cocktails and munching down on small plates.
Each heated igloo accommodates up to six people and can be reserved for a maximum of two hours at a time. They are available for brunch and dinner with incredible options like Vanilla-bourbon french toast and smoked salmon platters served with fresh bagels for brunch as well as mouthwatering tostones with guac and hearty clam chowder for dinner.
Specialty winter cocktails include, but are not limited to, the “Teeling Frisky” served hot with Teeling whiskey, honey, lemon and All Spice Dram, the “Guil-tea Pleasure” alo served hot and made with Green Mountain Vodka, mint tea and lemon, and the “Golden Ticket” hot cocoa served with your choice of Van Gogh Caramel Vodka or Jameson Cold Brew — Totally cool options, perfect for keeping you warm and cozy!
If you don’t get a chance to book an igloo or simply don’t feel like hanging out in one, you can still partake in Lookout’s winter rooftop experience by cozying up in the heated enclosure of the main bar or take advantage of their newly enclosed “ice boxes” overlooking the Boston Harbor!
Igloos are available by reservation only every Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for lunch. The igloos are also open from 4 p.m. until close, Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are now open and can be made online on Lookout’s website.
