This challenge-based entertainment arena is backed by Panera and Au Bon Pain Founder and Tatte investor, Ron Shaich. Shaich, now co-partner of what has become, Level 99- an interactive indoor entertainment and gaming concept tucked inside Greater Boston’s largest shopping complex, Natick Mall.
The space occupies nearly 50,000 square feet on the mall’s second floor adjacent to the food court. Level 99 Natick is the first location. Matt DuPlessie, another co-partner, is the owner of The 5 Wits Companies, a similar live-action immersive entertainment adventure experience with a location at Patriot’s Place in Foxboro, MA.
Level 99 opened in 2021 and has been a hit ever since, especially once Covid restrictions were lifted. Yet, many are still unaware of this hidden gem in the Natick Mall, so we hope to help you discover a little adventure within reach of the city.
Get lost in the game

Just about 13 miles from Boston, or exactly a 30-minute drive, is the massive complex. Find inside 43 separate rooms, each with unique challenges for groups of two to six players. In addition, there are 7 player arenas offering a competitive twist with some friendly player-versus-player matchups.
Explore a mix of physical and mental challenges while learning more about yourself and friends. Test your knowledge at the Museum Masterpiece room, or see if those gym days are paying off at the Ninja Comet room. The challenges are difficult, with low success rates but high levels of fun, all keeping players coming back to achieve new PRs.

In addition to all of the fun and games, guest can enjoy the lively restaurant which boasts 300 seats and a full menu. Find inside yummy snacks like house made potato chips with chive ranch, buttermilk brined fried chicken, and Detroit-style pizza.
