Named among the “top 10 Renaissance festivals in the nation” according to USA Today readers, King Richard’s Faire makes its delightful return to a new venue this year. Now in its 44th season, the Renaissance festival is the longest-running in New England, and also the largest.
Running weekends from August 30 through October 19, as well as September 1 and October 13, this faire offers an idyllic escape to the past and one that seamlessly blends into the changing seasons. In its new location, the faire features cranberry bogs and a mirror pond that’ll reflect the changing leaves as the faire progresses.
The grounds are larger than ever before, which means more to explore!
The new 200-acre fairgrounds feature plenty of entertainment like knights jousting on horseback thrice daily, eight performer stages, Renaissance-inspired faire food, and handcrafted wares. Tickets are $46 for adults, $26 for children aged 3-11, and free for children under 3 years of age.
