Jhoseline Flores, the mastermind behind Mexican jewelry brand, Juliet Aurel, just touched down in Boston, Massachusetts. You can already see the influence that life in New England has made on the flourishing brand which originated in Mexico, where Flores is from.
Her global brand, Juliet Aurel, remains based in Mexico where all pieces are handmade by talented artisans. They use special welding techniques and only work with fine jewelry-beginning with 14 karat gold. Occasionally, items are also made in Italy where the gold industry has been notorious for decades!
The thoughtfully curated designs are developed by Flores who is now based in Boston and taking inspiration from the New England coasts-shaping little clams and oysters out of gold and embellishing them with real pearls. The pieces are designed in Boston and Mexico where they are later casted, and hand carved by artisans.
The founder and CEO, Jhoseline Flores, is from a family of jewelers:
She grew up in the world of jewelry, since childhood she felt a great passion for design, processes and the diversity of techniques that exist and the art behind each one. Coming from a family of jewelers, he wanted to rescue the tradition of fine jewelry and value each piece beyond a simple object.
