The last remaining Hancock-owned property is for sale in the North End. The historic 5,748-square-foot Georgian red brick home once belonged to the founding father, John Hancock. It’s on the market for the first time in generations!
As one might expect, the historic 1767 home sits right on the Freedom Trail, and is adjacent to some of Boston’s most historic buildings, like the city’s oldest operating restaurant (that once served as a hiding spot for a French king).
An official asking price for the building is in motion, but it’s currently listed as “office space”.
Formally known as Ebenezer Hancock House, the home is listed among the National Registry of Historic Places, spans three floors and offers 7,622-square-feet of freestanding space.
