This Halloween high-tea celebration takes place at the Town Meeting Bistro situated in Lexington, Massachusetts’ boutique luxury inn, which received praise in this year’s Forbes travel guide. Situated in the birthplace of American liberty, the inn welcomes guests with an ornate ofrenda as a tribute to the town’s ancestors and veterans.
The highlight of the celebration is the towering assortment of farm-to-table Halloween-themed small bites. Steps outside of the inn’s kitchen is their harvested seasonal garden from which they pick the majority of their produce and the rest from local Wilson Farm. You’ll also get to cup their exclusive tea selection (pinkies up)!
While high tea is typically reserved for adults, this event is a family affair! Trick-or-treating, crafts, and cookie decorating further add to the festivities and keep the little ghouls entertained.

Costumes aren’t required for tea goers, but they are highly encouraged. The inn’s aesthetic ambiance of country-themed wallpaper and color-coordinated bookshelves draw the best-dressed influencers and fashionistas in flocks. All are eager to capture the perfect Instagram moment inside this beautiful establishment. So you can expect there to be an implicit costume contest.
