A 4 Nations Face-Off Fan Village is buckling down in Boston’s City Hall Plaza for a three-day event! This Saturday, February 15, through Monday, February 17, locals can enjoy a preview of the international tournament between NHL players from the United States, Canada, Finland, and Sweden!
Hosted by the city of Boston, the National Hockey League (NHL), and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA), the three-day, non-ticketed fan festival open to the public will take place from 11 AM until 6 PM each day.
A taste of international hockey in Boston
Boston is home to passionate hockey fans, and the Plaza’s location in the heart of the city and proximity to TD Garden, where the championship game faces off, make it the perfect place to gather in community, even in the winter months, and to celebrate one of Boston’s favorite pastimes—winning (sorry we mean ice hockey!). At the 4 Nations Face-Off Fan Village, you’ll get a sampling of international hockey excitement.
4 Nations Face-Off Fan Village activities include opportunities to take photos with the Stanley Cup all three days and visit the Hockey Hall of Fame Exhibit to see the 4 Nations Face-Off trophy on February 16 and 17!
4 Nations Face-Off Fan Village Events
On Saturday, February 15 through Monday, February 17, the NHL, NHLPA, and the City of Boston will bring hockey to City Hall Plaza for this fantastic event. The main event is the 4 Nations Face-Off, an international tournament to be played between NHL players from the United States, Canada, Finland, and Sweden!
Interactive hockey-themed experiences by dozens of 4 Nations Face-Off partners will be available during all operating hours. Fans will be able to watch a live broadcast of the Finland vs. Sweden game on February 15 at 1:00 PM, and the Canada vs. Finland game on February 17 at 1:00 PM.
The NHL, NHLPA, and their 4 Nations Face-Off partners will treat hockey fans to fun interactions, including autograph sessions featuring NHL alumni, family-friendly hockey interactives, giveaways, food, and music.
