4 Amtrak trains will take wizards and muggles alike along a magical journey through the Northeast. Amtrak officially became the partner for New York City’s Broadway show, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” playing this summer which sparked this splendid collaboration. The “Harry Potter” Amtrak trains will travel the classic Northeast Regional route which offers spellbinding views along the picturesque ride from Washington D.C. to Boston.
The themed trains will be encased in a mystical banner according to Amtrak:
The eye-catching train wrap features the show’s iconic logo along with Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy and the next generation of wizards: Albus Potter, Scorpius Malfoy, and Rose Granger-Weasley. The swirling clock will give you visions of time travel as you ride through the illustrious landscapes of the [northeast corridor]. While this train won’t be stopping at Platform 9 ¾, you’ll be sure to have a magical journey on the [northeast corridor].
While the train won’t take you to Hogwarts or wondrously whip along at 200 miles-per-hour, board it to New York and you’ll arrive at the magical gates of the Lyric Theatre where you can catch a showing of Harry Potter on Broadway!
