Kombucha fans, get ready for a wonderfully boozy upgrade to your favorite drink.
Although hard seltzers are all the rage right now, there’s a new competitor to the beverage game: hard kombucha.
Flying Embers is a new hard kombucha brewery located in East Roxbury at 152 Hampden St. The brewery originally made a name for itself in California, but its Roxbury location is the company’s first East Coast location. Open from 4 to 10 PM from Wednesday to Friday and 2 to 8 PM on the weekend, this is the perfect spot for your after-work happy hour.
When it comes to their drink menu, Flying Embers has no shortages of fun flavors to try. Grapefruit-thyme, black cherry and lime, and pineapple-chili are just a few examples of their unexpected flavor combinations for hard kombucha. You can even get a “boochtail” (a kombucha cocktail) at the brewery. Plus, they serve hard seltzers and beers brewed in-house, too.
As for food, Flying Embers has partnered with Bon Me, a local food truck and restaurant group, to serve some delicious food in tandem with its stellar drink selection.
Along with a spacious indoor taproom, Flying Embers Brewery has outdoor seating for the summer. There’s even an event space for upcoming live music, and artworks from local artists on the walls. You’ll definitely want to check out this brewery soon!
