Maccabee, Boston’s premiere Hanukkah pop-up, returns for its fifth year with not one, but two locations! This year, Maccabee will hold fort in Cambridge, hosted by Noir, and in Somerville hosted by Backbar. Naomi Levy, the mastermind of Maccabee is bringing a festive Hanukah fairytale experience to the city with festive decor and classic Hannukah flavors!
Old favorites will be making a comeback, this year in addition to some new surprises! Bites included, created by the teams of Field and Vine and Noir. If you cannot bring yourself to choose one of Maccabee’s many incredible options, you can always spin the dreidel and let yourself be surprised. L’Chaim!
The pop-up will also be offering a number of Hanukkah-friendly noshes including latkes by and sufganiyot — jelly donuts — by the phenomenal Lionheart Confections. Last year they featured an Ube Cheesecake Blueberry Jam filled sufganiyot. It’s easy to say that’s not your average jelly donut.
