The popular ice cream shop is opening its new spot on Kendall Square and it comes with boozy delights!
Calling all Gracie’s Ice Cream fans! The beloved ice cream shop is finally opening its new location on Kendall Square and they’re planning to sell boozy shakes! The new Cambridge location will feature Gracie’s crazy good ice cream by the scoop and a brand new all-day café, Earnest Drinks, that will serve beer, cocktails, espresso, wine and, of course, boozy milkshakes.
Gracie’s announced it would be opening a second location at 399 Binney St. earlier in March but was forced to put it on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. Owner Aaron Cohen has been teasing the opening of the new space on social media and it looks pretty fun featuring inspirational quotes and all!
Besides grabbing some smashing boozy milkshakes at Earnest Drinks, customers will also be able to grab ice cream pints to-go and Gracie’s popular ice cream pies which are currently available at their Union Square Location.
Gracie’s ice cream menu features six “ALWAYS” flavors–sweet cream, black raspberry chip, mint chip, cookies n’ cream and salty whiskey– and five rotating flavors, and a non-dairy sorbet, which never fail to disappoint. In the past Gracie’s customers have been able to delight in scoops of Twinkies N’ Jam, Chocolate Chip Blueberry Muffin and even Unicorn Poop (that’s just a fruity pebbles ice cream with smashed Maca Boston macaron’s for those who’re wondering–here are their unicorn poop pies for reference)
Gracie’s Ice Cream new shop on Kendall Square will feature a larger production space so you can definitely expect more amazing flavors to try out at this new location. Gracie’s has yet to announce the official opening date for its new location, you can still check out their super cool flavors at their Somerville location in Union Square!
