Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will open Ramsay’s Kitchen, his first foray into the Boston restaurant scene, this year in the Back Bay.
Fans of Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen will soon be able to dine at Gordon Ramsay’s first Boston restaurant, Ramsay’s Kitchen. The upscale eatery is set to open in the Mandarin Oriental hotel in the Back Bay. Ramsay’s Kitchen will occupy the same space as the now-shuttered Boston location of Bar Boulud Boston, headed by fellow celebrity chef Daniel Boulud.
According to a press release released by Ramsay’s team, the expansive restaurant space will include a bar and lounge area, dining room, raw bar, private dining spaces, and a patio that will operate during the warmer months. The menu will draw on staple favorites from Ramsay’s national restaurant group, including his famous beef wellington. It will also feature a lobster and clam bouillabaisse that will surely fit right in with Boston’s seafood-heavy dining scene.
Ramsay praised Boston’s restaurant scene in a press statement and Instagram announcement, adding that he plans to take advantage of the wealth of local ingredients available in the northeast. For updates on Ramsay’s Kitchen, keep an eye on their Instagram page in the months to come.
