The cast of the notorious Gilmore Girls reunites in a new documentary, Drink Coffee, Talk Fast. For the first time ever, some of the cast, crew and fans unite to share behind-the-scenes stories and moments from the show.
A first look at the documentary reveals what’s to come and the beloved characters who’ve come on to the project that transformed their lives, and millions around the globe, 25 years ago:
Fans are a large part of this project, with the opportunity to star in the documentary, a reward on one of the tiers of the Kickstarter project, now 433% funded—a testament to the loyalty of Gilmore Girls fans. The production met the funding goal on October 30; interested fans can still fund the project, with reward tiers available until the Kickstarter closes.
The film is not affiliated with Warner Bros., which currently owns rights to the show. Drink Coffee, Talk Fast marks the third production from Ink on Paper Studios, a Los Angeles-based studio founded by filmmakers Jim Demonakos and Kevin Konrad Hanna crafted to bring the stories of pop culture fixtures to life through compelling and insightful documentaries.
While Lorelai, Rory, Sookie, Luke, Jess, Logan, and Jackson are not confirmed, over 30 cast and crew members are expected to star in the documentary:
