The Dalton Bear Tea Party
Kids love to imagine a tea party, but the Four Seasons wants to fill those cups for real! This charming rendition of afternoon tea offers an enchanting experience with kid-friendly treats, and something extra sweet—their own custom-designed Dalton Bear dressed in a beautiful multi-colored paisley patchwork fabric inspired by the lobby library.
The Four Seasons One Dalton’s striking art installation, The American Library Collection: Dancers, Musicians, and Actors by Yinka Shonibare is a well known emblem of this 5-star Back Bay hotel. Kids will be able to literally hold on to the memories of their Dalton Bear Tea Party with their own bear to take home!
The kids menu includes a selection of delicious herbal teas served in elegant colorful teapots, or hot cocoa! To kick things off, kids are treated to a sparkling beverage served in a beary special cup and raspberry popover amuse bouche.
The main event includes a triple-tier tower with delicious sweet and savory items curated with kids in mind—they’ll enjoy everything from a Mickey-Mouse cut turkey and cheese, to an elegant chicken salad croissant sandwich, to a frosted bear-shaped shortbread topped with 24 karat gold flakes!
Signature Afternoon Tea
The introduction of the Dalton Bear Tea Party transforms afternoon tea into a family-friendly experience. Adults will still be able to enjoy Trifecta’s Signature Afternoon Tea, alongside the kids! Turn it into a “mommy and me” festivity this upcoming Mother’s Day!
“Our Afternoon Tea at Trifecta is already a beloved tradition, and the Dalton Bear Tea Party adds a playful touch for children and families,” says Rob Differ, Director of Food and Beverage. “We wanted to create a memorable experience for our youngest guests while maintaining the elegance that defines Afternoon Tea at One Dalton.”
This classic Four Seasons tea at Trifecta Boston is the epitome of a high tea experience. Pick from a selection of divine teas, like a beautiful J’enwey Tea blue chamomile butterfly pea tea for spring. The adult tea amuse bouche is a foie gras profiterole with passionfruit pearls, an unbelievable combination of flavors and textures.
All high tea towers share in a delicious scone tier served with whipped Devonshire cream, whipped lemon curd, and apricot preserves. The Signature Afternoon Tea also includes two additional tiers, one dedicated to sweet and another to savory with delicious treats. Munch on a Smoked Salmon Pinwheel with caper cream cheese and everything bagel seasoning, a Melon Napoleon with fresh mint, grilled halloumi, and balsamic pearls, and a Profiterole filled with tropical mango mousse.
All items are fresh-made in-house by the expert pastry and culinary team of the Four Seasons.
