Dr. Seuss Enterprises is bringing one of its most iconic stories to life in Boston with a whimsical, highly visual pop‑up inspired by Oh, The Places You’ll Go!, just in time for graduation season.
This Friday, an out-of-this-world photobooth will pop up in Boston, and it feels like something out of a Dr. Seuss book— because it is!
The iconic author (who was a Springfield, Massachusetts by the way) wrote and illustrated 44 children’s books and over 60 books in his lifetime! Oh, the Places You’ll Go! is an especially meaningful Dr. Seuss book.
It was the final book published by Dr. Seuss, in 1990 before he passed in 1991. The book is a celebration of new beginnings and next chapters. This makes the timing of the pop up especially on cue, with the city in the buzz of graduation and a transition from spring into summer.
The Dr. Seuss Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Boston photobooth experience arrives in Downtown on Friday, May 8. It is free and open to the public from 10 AM until 6 PM for one day only.
Find it on the Rose Kennedy Greenway adjacent to North Canal Fountain.
