It seems like every dining experience is now dictated by how a dish looks rather than how it tastes. If you’re on a quest to explore unique experiences that transcend the superficiality of appearances and focus on the true essence of food, you’re in luck! The tantalizing Dining in the Dark experience is finally coming to Boston where you’ll appreciate food with more intensity thanks to its handy blindfolds.
Velvety and crunchy textures, intoxicating aromas, fresh flavors and robust tastes await on selected dates this season at Premiere on Broadway, a popular Italian American restaurant owned by the Zammuto family. It’s time to savor meals that nourish the soul and expand your culinary horizons beyond the confines of a perfectly staged photo!
What to expect at Dining in the Dark?
As you sit in a darkened surrounding complimented by candlelight, you’ll get to test how great of a palate you have. After all, you’re only left with your taste buds and your sense of smell and touch to enjoy a fabulous three-course meal, because you’ll be handed a blindfold upon arrival.
Don’t worry though, the restaurant’s waiters will be on hand to make sure you don’t bump into anything. Once you’ve found your spot in the dark, you’ll indulge in one of three delicious menus, red (that heroes meat), blue (which uses the flavors of the sea), and green (a vegan option that puts vegetables at the forefront).
This experience is all about thinking outside of the box and getting creative, so you can use every tool necessary to make the most of it. Whether it’s using the cutlery provided by the restaurant or using your fingers and hands to easily grab the food. As long as you don’t get too cheeky and try to peek at the food, anything goes!

Fantastic and well thought experience. Really had to rely on other senses to get your way through the table and manage to carefully grab your wine without spilling. Food menu was well thought out… Waitress Georgia was fantastic. Had a great time and would recommend to all
This experience was incredible! Not being able to see your food, your drink, guessing what it is. Such a great girls night out!
