Thousands voted for the next ‘Voice of Logan’ airport competition in the public voting that ran from October 24 through October 28.
From eight finalists, only one was selected to be the next voice of Logan Airport, that finalist is Chris Donisi.
Chris is a “homegrown Boston guy.” Originally from Arlington, Massachusetts, near the Minuteman Bike Trail, Chris is now based in Burlington, Massachusetts. But now, you’ll get to know him when you’re coming in and out of Boston Logan.
Introducing your new Voice of Logan! Thank you to all who participated. Congratulations to Chris Donisi. Make sure to listen for Chris when you’re traveling through Boston Logan this holiday season, wrote MassPort.
Here’s a taste of what’s to come with Mr. Donisi as the next narrator for Logan Airport.
Chris Dinisi shared on his Voice of Logan Airport profile:
“I’m a home grown Boston guy, born just outside of the city in East Arlington. And I don’t think I honestly deserve anything but I just know this city and its roots and how the people move and flow around here. And everyone has always told me to do voice work so when I seen this I said what a perfect opportunity to give it a shot and how perfect it would be in my home town at Logan.”
Next time you hear Donisi’s Boston accent, you’ll know that you’re home.
