It’s often Bostonians, Americans really, who romanticize the Parisian lifestyle. Flocking to the hottest or most romantic French restaurant in the city, enjoying croissants and patio seating on the regular, and indulging in mousse au chocolat around Valentine’s Day.
But who knew across the pond, the same thing was happening with Parisians and tourists paying a visit to Disneyland Paris? Disney brought a taste of New England life to Paris with its Cape Cod dining experience.
Disney Newport Bay Club’s Cape Cod sector invites you to “drop anchor in this New England seaside setting for some Mediterranean and International tastes from the ocean.” The seafood-centric buffet spot at Disneyland Paris is supposedly modeled after a New England seafood restaurant. The spot is referred to as “Disney’s Cape Cod.”
The restaurant logo even features what looks like three pilgrims overlooking a sailboat and a lighthouse, a nod to historic New England.
