Even Boston weather is eager for spring! Last year, Boston broke a 113-year-old record high when temperatures reached 61 degrees on February 16. The last time Boston temperatures reached the 60s in February was 1910.
Tuesday is the pick of the week. This year, we’re not expected to break last year’s record, as temperatures will hover just below 60 degrees. However, temperatures are definitely still above average for February in Boston! On Tuesday, February 27, the high will be 59 degrees with clear skies and plenty of sunshine.
It’s already starting to feel like March.
Wednesday temperatures are similar, with a high of 58 degrees. But with an 80% chance of rain all morning and early afternoon, it’ll likely feel colder and muggier. On Thursday, Leap Day, temperatures resume normalcy for February with highs of 35 degrees and lows of 27.
The first week of March, which begins Friday, looks promising for spring weather. There’s a mix of sunny (and rainy) days and highs ranging from 46-56 degrees.

But we’re hoping that’s a dated prediction and spring is here to stay! Check out some of our spring break recs to leap ahead on warm weather fun.
