Games are played as needed, so if one team takes four straight wins, there will not be a Game 5-7.
Boston Celtics to take on Dallas Mavericks in NBA finals
The Celtics won the Eastern Conference finals and they will play the winner of the Western conference finals, the Dallas Mavericks. The Dallas Mavericks, fifth seed, won their series versus third seed, Minnesota Timberwolves with a series lead of 4-1. The Boston Celtics are the top seed in the league.
How many games do they need to win for the championship?
The series is best out of seven games. So, the Celtics need to win at least four games to take the championship title.
