Project Paulie, a community-focused fashion brand dedicated to bringing people together through food and culture and Seaport have partnered for a fun-filled sporting adventure this summer! Bostonians can soon enjoy the 3 brand-new outdoor bocce lanes coming to Seaport adjacent to The Current.
The Current is Seaport’s innovative brand incubator, hosting fresh faces each season and currently home to “forever jewelry” brand, Brave Daughters. Neighboring is also, Project Paulie, the Boston-born fashion brand that stemmed from a passion to spread hope during the 2020 pandemic. Project Paulie Founder, Nicky Bandera, said in a recent statement:
Project Paulie is a Boston-Based fashion brand that raises funds and awareness for charitable organizations that feed people in different ways. We’re excited to announce another fun way to support these impactful organizations through a nostalgic game of bocce.
Together, with the help of Ariel Foxman, VP, Brand & Experience Boston Seaport, the Seaport Common will transform into an outdoor bocce lane and clubhouse!
We’re excited to see Project Paulie expand its fun-loving cause-driven footprint in the neighborhood. Families and friends will no doubt enjoy this first-to-Seaport activation, right in the center of the district. After all, in the summertime, Bocce is the new curling! Ariel said in reference to Snowport.
There will be 3 bocce lanes, 2 that require prior reservation, which can be made online, and one for drop-in games! All lanes take up to 4 players and are $40 per hour. In Project Paulie fashion, a portion of all sales from the bocce lane reservations will go towards Project Bread, a food assistance organization in Massachusetts wrestling hunger and developing initiatives to make healthy food accessible to people of all ages in the state.
The Project Paulie Bocce Clubhouse will feature green-and-white striped decor throughout and green neon-lit bocce lanes that add a monochromatic flair. Project Paulie will also have special merch exclusive to the bocce clubhouse and inspired by the summer sport- featuring everything from signature beanies to bucket hats and more! Every Friday to Sunday, players can indulge in delicious specialty hot dogs, from local, Latina-owned Buenas. The menu will also feature emPAWnadas (empanadas for dogs) as well as soft drinks and other surprise treats!
