Boston’s waterfront is set to come alive Memorial Day weekend as the Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market returns for its seventh season, bringing a vibrant mix of local businesses, music, and community programming to Harbor Way. The award-winning outdoor series continues its mission of spotlighting Black-owned businesses across Greater Boston, offering a dynamic space where visitors can discover new brands while enjoying a lively, open-air atmosphere.
With more than 60 vendors featured at each market, attendees can browse everything from skincare and botanicals to apparel, jewelry, home décor, art, and gourmet foods. The experience goes beyond shopping, with guests encouraged to sip, shop, and stroll along the Seaport while taking in the energy of the neighborhood.
A community-driven market experience
This year’s opening theme, “Rhythm & Bloom,” sets the tone for a season centered on creativity and connection. Visitors can expect live DJ sets from DJ Slick Vick, DJ Mez, and KNSZWRTH, along with a photobooth by Snapped Boston and expanded monthly programming, including new on-site workshops led by local makers and experts.
Returning faves and new vendors in the spotlight
The 2026 season features a mix of returning favorites like Body, Stone and Soul, Knot Your Average, Lumiere Rene Candles, and Piece By Irene, alongside new additions including The Bone Sauce, Glo Tea, Blaq Star Soaps, and Eb & Flow Catering. Each vendor is part of the Black Owned Bos. network, reinforcing the market’s focus on local entrepreneurship and community impact.
“Each year, we’re intentional about building on what people already love about the Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Outdoor Market while continuing to introduce something new,” says Jae’da Turner, Founder, Black Owned Bos. “What started as a space for people to discover and support local businesses has grown into a fuller community experience with food, entertainment, family-friendly programming, and this year, timed on-site workshops led by local makers and experts. We want every market to feel familiar, but never exactly the same. Something to look forward to every month.”
