The first Angelina Bakery is slated to open in Boston very soon. Opening on the corner where Boylston Street meets Mass Ave, adjacent to Berklee College of Music, the bakery became a New York City staple after opening in Hell’s Kitchen on 8th Avenue in 2019. Times Square, Grand Central, the Upper East Side, Nomad, and additional locations quickly followed.

Angelina Bakery became instantly recognizable with its signature teal green color and is famous for its Bombolone—a light, fully filled round Italian donut, inspired by the owner’s upbringing in Italy.
About Angelina owner and baker Antonio ‘Tony’ Park

Tony is of Korean descent but was born and raised in Palermo, Italy, by an Italian family. He was taught how to bake and cook by his Italian grandmother, Anna. These skills were passed on to his daughter, Angelina, the inspiration behind the bakery’s name.
Park studied at the Scuola Alberghiera of Palermo and trained in pastry in Italy for years before pursuing his dream of opening a bakery in the heart of Manhattan.
“A hidden gem planted in the hustle of Midtown, baker Antonio ‘Tony’ Park brings his vision of an Italian bakery to New York City, serving exceptional baked goods inspired by recipes passed down by the matriarch of his family. These timeless classics are brought to life in a transparent laboratory where guests can admire the production process.”
The Broadway Bombolone

Angelina gained instant popularity for its Bombolone, an Italian filled donut available in flavors like pistachio, hazelnut, strawberry cream, chantilly cream, and even Boston Cream. The bakery and café also offers additional pastries, cakes, tarts, and a full menu of savory options such as focaccia, pizza, and sandwiches.
The exact opening date is yet to be announced, but the new bakery will occupy a former Bank of America space.
