All’antico Vinaio is beloved by Italian locals and tourists alike at its three Florence, Italy locations. Soon, Boston will have the unique opportunity to savor a taste of Florence while relaxing at Copley Square.
The shop, opening adjacent to Copley Square on Boylston Street, is heralded for its sandwiches served on fresh-baked Tuscan schiacciata bread. All’ antico Vinaio offers both a menu of preset sandwich offerings and the opportunity to build your own sandwich using their assortment of fresh vegetables, spreads, cheeses, and meats. Saveur Magazine called All’antico Vinaio “home of the world’s best sandwiches.”
The sandwich shop is also known for its massive portions at affordable prices, a $14 sandwich is enough to cover two meals.
The lines outside the shops globally speak for themselves. All’ antico Vinaio opened in 1991 with a shop in Florence, and grew within Italy, opening shops in Rome, Milan, and Turin. In 2024, they opened their first American location in sunny Los Angeles.
