As Tropical Storm Isaias continues to make its way up the East Coast, Boston and other parts of New England will be hit with strong winds and rain.
Earlier on Tuesday, August 4, the National Weather Service put the Tornado Watch into effect for the whole of Massachusetts, northern Connecticut, Rhode Island, southern New Hampshire and southern Vermont:
The order is expected to remain in effect until 9 pm today. As per weather forecast, the NMS said a few tornados, large-sized hail and isolated wind gusts of 80 miles per hour are possible.
Winds are expected to pick up significantly in the next few hours as Isaias reaches Southern New England.
Isaias is currently hovering over Maryland and is expected to hit New York later today as well.
