The RealReal is bringing its authenticated luxury consignment experience to Massachusetts for the first time, with a new store opening at The Street Chestnut Hill on October 15. The 1,800-square-foot space at 27 Boylston Street, Suite 205 marks the brand’s first physical presence in the state, serving a Greater Boston community that has already been buying and consigning through the platform online.
“Boston has been a market we’ve had our eye on for a long time. We already have a strong community of buyers and consignors here, and Chestnut Hill gives us the opportunity to meet them where they live, shop and spend their everyday lives,” said Samantha McCandless, Chief Merchandising Officer of The RealReal. “There’s a real appreciation for quality, craftsmanship and longevity in this market, which aligns incredibly well with how today’s luxury consumer is shopping. The Chestnut Hill store is its latest retail expansion, joining locations in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, New York, San Francisco and elsewhere across the country.
The RealReal arrives just outside Boston
The store covers the full range of The RealReal’s offering — women’s and men’s fashion, handbags, fine jewelry, watches and accessories — with inventory refreshed continuously so each visit turns up something different. Expect pieces from Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, The Row, Cartier and Rolex, among others. Alongside shopping, customers can book one-on-one consignment consultations, get expert valuations on items already in their closets, and arrange private appointments for high-value pieces like rare handbags or fine watches.
