About Turkish Lazuri Cafe

What to order
In addition to the popular Adana Kabob, which is a homerun meal for lamb lovers, there’s an extensive assortment at Lazuri Cafe, so here are a few highlights. The entire menu is halal, so those observing a halal diet can order easily, while everyone can enjoy the delicious flavors of the Mediterranean and Black Seas.
Among the most popular brunch options is “Kahvalti Tabagi,” a $17 massive Turkish breakfast plate with all the works. Sample an assortment of fresh salads, olives, cheeses, eggs, dipping sauces and homemade bread. Complement your Turkish breakfast with an authentic Turkish coffee prepared in Copper cezve.
Don’t leave Lazuri Cafe without trying these three sharing plates. Indulge in an Ezme Salad, more a dip than salad, which features a traditional spicy mashed herb and tomato dip served with hot, fluffy bread. Sigara Borek is another must for cheese lovers—these savory pastries are skinny rolls of fried phyllo dough stuffed with gooey cheese, eggs and parsley.
Pide—a baked Turkish flatbread with an oval, boat-like appearance—comes in eight different flavors at Lazuri Cafe. Get whichever you’re feeling, or try the Gozleme, a stuffed flatbread with ground beef, feta, and spinach.
Manti, Turkish dumplings filled with beef and topped with a smooth garlic yogurt and butter are an immediate crowd pleaser. For entrees, try one of the authentic Turkish kebab options like kofte, Doner, or Adana.
All the food and dessert is made in house, so there’s really no wrong choices. Turkish Lazuri Cafe’s signature baked kunefe—a dessert with gooey cheese sandwiched between homemade sweet crispy pastry dough, baked and drizzled with simple syrup— tantalizes all the textures.
Kazandibi a burnt milk pudding is another delicacy we recommend for dessert.
