Boston’s South End is about to come alive with a summer celebration that blends fitness, food, and nostalgia. Local woman-owned businesses are hosting the most energetic evening, which kicks off with movement and ends with a throwback-style block party.
‘School’s out for the Summer Block Party’
Start your evening with a free, 30-minute bodyweight workout led by Two Toned Training on one of the South End’s iconic courts (exact location revealed after sign-up). All ticketed participants will score an exclusive, limited-edition 1987 weekender tote—perfect for your summer adventures.
Post workout, throw it back to The Homemade Market’s concession stand for playful, elevated takes on classic ballpark snacks, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and Madeleine’s Candy Shop’s brand-new soft serve packed with candy mix-ins. Only ticketed guests have access to these treats and the tote bag, but Madeleine’s Candy will be available for purchase by all block party attendees.
The celebration doesn’t end there. The block will buzz with classic lawn games, summer music, and a welcoming community vibe. Non-ticketed guests are invited to join the block party fun after the workout, starting at 6:30 pm, enjoying games, music, and the festive atmosphere. Local favorites VESTER Cafe and DrinkTru will be on tap.
