The pop-up beer gardens are returning to their Esplanade and Allston locations on Saturday, August 8.
Night Shift Brewery’s pop-up beer gardens are finally coming back to Boston. Originally meant to open in May, the Owl’s Nest gardens had to be postponed due to the pandemic. Now they’re finally opening starting Saturday, August 8!
Owl’s Nest will be opening in its two usual locations, on the Esplanade near Fiedler Field and at Herter Park in Allston, but you can expect this year’s experience to be a little different. While still family and dog-friendly, the beer gardens have put new safety guidelines in place to ensure social distancing. In addition to following state safety guidelines, new measures include no parties larger than 6 people and making masks obligatory at all times except when sitting down. Organizers also encourage making a reservation online before heading over to Owl’s Nest since walk-in spaces will be kept limited to prevent overcrowding.
This summer’s Owl’s Nest pop-ups will still be a total hoot! Night Shift Brewing has partnered up with other local breweries and wineries to provide a wide selection of craft wines, and other beverages for your enjoyment. There will also be food trucks for you to grab delicious bites at which will shift throughout the season!
Both Owl’s Nest locations will operate from 2 pm until 10 pm on Saturday, August 8, and noon to 8 p.m on Sunday, August 9. Starting on Wednesday, August 12, the gardens will be open every open Wednesday and Thursday from 4 pm to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 2 pm to 10 pm and Sundays from noon to 8 pm.
