MIT Future Fest debuts for the first time this fall!
The five day conference brings together some of the planet’s buzziest braniacs—aka wicked smaht folks in their respective fields! Participants include visionary architect Carlo Ratti (curator of 2025 Venice Biennale of Architecture), designer and computer scientist Skylar Tibbits, interdisciplinary artist and designer Behnaz Farahi, MIT Quantum lead Danna Freedman, rock climber and bionicist Hugh Herr, aerospace engineer Danielle Wood, and MoMA Senior Curator of Architecture & Design Paola Antonelli.
Topics of interest at MIT Future Fest range from oceans to life sciences, energy, design, and more! The inaugural five-day festival also opens the doors of MIT’s labs, workshops, museum, and theaters—a chance to explore the birthplace of world-changing innovations.
MIT Future Fest opens up MIT like never before—transforming it into a living playground of ideas,” shares MIT Museum Director, Michael John Gorman.
