Built to let imagination run wild, the LEGO Discovery Center of Boston houses over 20 different interactive, immersive simulations to learn, grow, make friends and have a blast simultaneously! It’s impossible to miss the discovery center which sits on Somerville’s Assembly Row as just outside it stands a 20-foot-tall rainbow LEGO giraffe, suggesting the wild fun and new-heights of this next-gen LEGO center-it’s not your average playland.
While the LEGO Discovery Center of Boston sits upon a massive LEGO store with more options than most, the real entertainment kicks off on the second floor-home to the new discovery center which underwent a $12 million renovation and opens to the public May 25, 2023. As a hub for innovation, LEGO chose Boston for both the first-of-its-kind discovery center and upcoming headquarters transition. Ride up the magical LEGO elevators and immediately get building!
The very first interactive simulation sits right at your fingertips upon exiting the elevators. Kids and adults alike can partake in building their own LEGO friend to enter the magical LEGO kingdom with them. Pick from shoes, hairstyles, outfits and more! We made a cute 2-headed friend, so the sky seriously is the limit!
