One of the most magical displays is making its Boston debut next week!
The Great Elephant Migration, a traveling initiative that celebrates wildlife and raises awareness about community-led conservation efforts, has traveled thousands of miles. This August, the elephant safari makes its Boston debut.

The Great Elephant Migration features over 100 life-size elephants handcrafted by Indigenous artisans from India’s Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. The instillation transforms Commonwealth Avenue Mall into a transportive safari, with massive life-size elephant sculptures decorating the one-mile stretch from Fairfield Street to Arlington Street.

The displays runs on Commonwealth Avenue Mall from August through September. Find the global art display this summer for a spectacular once-in-a lifetime experience right in Boston! The elephants previously visited neighboring towns like Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard and Newport, Rhode Island.
