Under one hour outside Boston, step into an otherworldly floral utopia brimming with exotic orchids from around the world. There are over 28,000 orchid species, and you’ll have the unique opportunity to explore dozens of them right in New England!
The exhibit takes place at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, under an hour west of Boston. Making its annual return, the orchid show’s theme this year is Elevated, An Orchid Exhibition. This year’s display collects thousands of colorful orchids from around the world all under one roof, New England Botanic Garden shares:
The Garden’s annual orchid exhibition delivers what we all need in the winter season—color, warmth, inspiration, and joy,” says Lea Morgan, exhibitions manager for New England Botanic Garden. Each year, the orchid exhibition changes to feature new plants, themes, artists, educational programming, and special events. “We’re thrilled, not only to present Elevated to the community, but also to collaborate with such an exceptional artist on the exhibition’s creative vision,” Morgan adds.
Visitors can peruse the thousands of orchids and enjoy a lineup of special programming and educational events throughout the event’s season. The exhibit is included in General Admission, and tickets start from $20.
This is one of the garden’s most anticipated floral exhibitions of the year, and it includes a special adults-only nighttime experience.
