JetBlue and Dunkin’ are giving Bostonians a wicked good reason to look up. In a move that’s more Boston than a nor’easter at Fenway, the two rolled out a new Airbus A320, “Brewing Altitude,” decked out in Dunkin’s iconic pink and orange and sporting donut and coffee cup motifs that’ll have you craving a large regular before you even hit security.
A wicked sweet ride outta Logan
Picture this: you’re hustling through Logan, maybe dodging a few “park ya cah” jokes, and you spot a plane that looks like it just rolled out of a Dunkin’ on Boylston. That’s “Brewing Altitude,” JetBlue’s latest tribute to its nearly 20-year partnership with Dunkin’. The two brands have been fueling travelers since JetBlue started pouring Dunkin’ coffee at 35,000 feet back in 2006. By 2011, Dunkin’ became the exclusive in-flight coffee provider, making sure every JetBlue flight runs on Dunkin’-literally.
Monday just got more Dunkin’
If you catch a ride on Brewing Altitude on a Monday between May 19 and September 1, you’ll score more than just a window seat with a view of the Zakim. JetBlue TrueBlue members will be upgraded to Mosaic 1 status (think: priority perks), while Dunkin’ Rewards members get Boosted status for three months. Already a Mosaic or Boosted member? You’ll pocket bonus points and tiles, so your loyalty cup runs over.
Dunkin’ has been part of the JetBlue journey for nearly two decades, and we’re proud to showcase this partnership with a livery that’s as fun and bold as the brands behind it,” said Marty St. George, president, JetBlue. “With our shared Boston heritage and focus on delighting loyal customers, this collaboration brings together two fan-favorite brands in a way only JetBlue and Dunkin’ can, the team shared in a press release.
Donut miss what’s next
JetBlue and Dunkin’ are promising more surprises for travelers and coffee lovers alike-so keep your eyes peeled for more wicked awesome promos that’ll have you flying high. In the meantime, if you spot a plane at Logan that looks ready to serve up a dozen glazed and a large iced, you know you’re about to embark on a journey that’s pure Boston, from takeoff to touchdown.
So next time you’re booking a flight, remember: in Boston, even the planes run on Dunkin’.
