Boston-area dog owners can give their companions the starring role during a one-day Dunkin’ for Dogs event in Quincy. Dunkin’ and dog brand BARK will turn one drive-thru lane into an official experience for dogs, complete with treats, limited-edition bandanas and the chance to get new Dunkin’ x BARK dog toys through donations supporting children facing illness and hunger. The event arrives on National Dog Day and marks the seventh year of the companies’ charitable collaboration.
Dogs get their own Dunkin’ lane
For several hours Wednesday, the Quincy restaurant will operate one normal drive-thru lane for people and another dedicated to canine customers. Dogs visiting with their owners can receive a treat and a limited-edition BARK x Dunkin’ bandana, while supplies last.
The event also introduces the 2026 toy collection, featuring plush versions of familiar Dunkin’ menu items. The Wake-Up Wrap toy, which includes two squeakers and space to hide treats, is available with a $14 donation. A Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher and Donuts duo is available with a $16 donation, while an oversized Iced Signature Latte and Chocolate Frosted Sprinkles Donut toy is offered online with a $20 donation.
Toys to support hospital dogs
Proceeds from the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation and its Dogs for Joy program help place trained facility dogs at children’s hospitals. The dogs support young patients during treatment, including by offering comfort during procedures and helping make medical routines less intimidating.
The BARK and Dunkin’ partnership has raised more than $15 million and sold more than 1 million dog toys over seven years. For Massachusetts dog parents, the Quincy stop offers the rare chance to let the pup in the backseat—or front seat—be the customer of the day.
