This is the 12th annual rollerblading disco party, paying tribute to the legendary Boston-born American musician Donna Summer. Summer was born and raised in Mission Hill, eventually shattering records in the music industry and earning herself the title of the “Queen of Disco.”

The block party honors the woman and the legend who left her mark on the music industry while celebrating her Boston roots. Expect a night of Donna Summer hits, rollerblading, disco, glow sticks, bubbles, and more.
A free outdoor disco night at the heart of the city
The event is free and open to the public—bring your own rollerblades, but non-skaters are welcome too.
