A first-of-its-kind partnership with Delta and Shake Shack launches 30,000 miles in the sky beginning December 1. Delta customers flying first class out of Boston on trips exceeding 900 miles can soon pre-reserve a Shake Shack meal for their flight. For reference, a flight from Boston to Chicago is about 900 miles.
In addition to a customizable Shake Shack burger, the full meal rounds out with a Caesar salad, chips, and a dark chocolate brownie.
Delta First Class passengers will be able to pre-select their Shack meal up to 24 hours before departure using the Fly Delta app or flight link in email.
At Shake Shack, we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to meet our guests where they are, even at 35,000 feet,” said Michael Kark, President of Global Licensing at Shake Shack. “Taking our beloved cheeseburger to new heights, Shake Shack is proud to partner with Delta as we elevate the in-flight dining and hospitality experience for travelers across the country.
The new partnership is a continuation of the longstanding relationship with Delta and Danny Myers, founder of Shake Shack and Union Square Hospitality Group—of Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, ci siamo, an more renowned New York and global restaurants.
The unique partnership pilots in Boston, with plans to launch in other cities comes 2025.
