How to get to Boston Harborfest
If you’re planning to attend, arriving early is highly recommended. Parking in downtown Boston and along the waterfront is extremely limited and typically fills up well before major events begin.
Visitors are encouraged to take public transportation via the MBTA, with expanded subway, commuter rail, and bus service expected throughout the holiday week. The Blue Line, Green Line, and commuter rail stops near the waterfront offer some of the most convenient access points. Ferry services and water taxis will also provide scenic routes to Harborfest locations.
Keep in mind that alcohol restrictions, security screenings, and road closures will be in effect in many areas. Drones and personal fireworks are strictly prohibited.
