If you enjoy your “coffee with a side of shopping,” as the cafe puts it, then a visit to the new A-OK Cafe is a must on your Boston cafe bucket list.
The sultry cafe sits hidden on the second floor of the massive Canadian-born global retailer, Aritzia.
Upstairs, you’ll find marble countertops, tiled floors, fluted wood paneling, and a delicious cafe menu. The cafe uses La Marzocco espresso machines and offers a vast assortment of beverages. The current featured drink is an iced Strawberry Matcha Latte with vanilla and a fluffy coconut cold foam. Edible strawberry snow gently dusts the foam for a pop of flavor and color. In addition to matcha, served hot and iced, A-OK offers coffee, hot chocolate, chai, loose-leaf herbal teas, and more.
Currently, the cafe is reserved for Aritizia clientele only, meaning anyone who books a complimentary private styling session in an Aritzia Styling Suite or makes a purchase (no minimum required) can visit the cafe upstairs. When you checkout, just let the sales clerk know you’re headed to A-OK, and they’ll give you a gold token to redeem your beverage.
A-OK’s golden tokens are a blast from the past, a taste of the analog life. On one side, they feature the cafe mascot, Brutus, an adorable dachshund, who’s profile also decorates the cafe coasters, mugs, and napkins.
Find A-OK on the second level of Aritzia at Prudential Center in Boston, located at 500 Boylston Street. A-OK Cafe is open daily from open until 5 PM.
